"Life of Jesus Christ" Overlay Stole (Cantate Fabric)

Overlay stole, hand embroidered with scenes from the life of Jesus. Manufactured in Cantate Fabric: 99% wool and 1% gold thread. It is completely hand embroidered in gold threads, and depicts scenes from the Life of Christ. Christmas, the Baptism in the Jordan, Crucifixion, the Emmaus disciples, the miracolous draught of fishes, Pantocrator. In the neck, symbols of the four Evangelists are embroidered. His Holiness pope John Paul II wore this stole during the Mass in Meadowlands (NJ) during his visit to the United States in 1995. Stole is supported by an elegant chain, which prevents the stole from rubbing neck or hair, and save the use of stole protector. Style 65: flat rounded neck finish, Stole is lined and interlined.
